I'm considering lowering the firenza and was wondering the best route to take. Chopped springs is somthing I'm not keen on and if it's too low is have to buy new ones. So question is are there coil overs available for vauxhall firenzas or vivas ? That way I could lower and raise it to how I want it. Or suggestions on what springs will fit it without cutting.

if gaz don't you can buy coilover conversion kits to make your standard struts into coilovers. Most rally parts stockists will sell a kit

I had all the bits ready to do an adjustable lowering set up for my HB, Fronts were going to be BL mini Adjustable Koni coilovers (2" springs) , a bit of strengthening around the top of the shock mount would be advisable as you are now putting the suspension loading thru the shock mount, on the rear I was using Corsa pigtail -30 springs with adjustable platforms, which makes the rear of the car adjustable, on the rear you need to be aware that lower the car too much you will have problems with the rear control arms fouling the chassis.

Atmo V8 Power . No slicks , No gas + No bits missing . Doing it in style. Austin A35van, very different------- but still doing it in style, going to be a funmoble

Superbean.... Viva/Firenza/Magnums are double a-arm fronts and live axle rears, no struts This thread has a lack of pics.... There is someone I believe Coggers uses that does lowering springs that have been very popular also ^^^^^^^^^^ that's mine it's on GAZ coilover and 325lbs springs which aren't strong enough so I have some 450lbs ones waiting to go on it, it's also got corsa rear springs with adjustable platforms

That looks like how I want mine just taking my suspension apart now to see how the shockers springs look. Then I'm going to see it I can get anything sorted on it.

Just fitted my 450lbs springs they're 7" long 1.9" id on GAZ coilovers with an open length of 11" between centre of the eyes It's running an XE which is considerably lighter than a slant so you might need 500lbs springs but results in a stance like this with room to go up or down a bit and it drives really nice, not to stiff just nice
