Hi all,
I'm a very regular reader of this and other forums but I must admit RR is by far the most normal and I love it. The people, the cars themselves- it's just better than more mainstream sites *p*****heads cough*. So, it's here that I've come for suggestions for a new project. I'm looking for something with character that I can slowly but surely mod and improve. I've had an extremely tumultuous couple of years, sectioned once, rehab'd twice etc etc and as a result I'm on the tail end of a second DD ban- not big not clever but just the way it is. So, first things first- with a purchase budget of say £3k what are the recommendations? It has to be tame(ish) due to insurance considerations. Also, legal eagles- do I need to declare something that happened in 2001?
I've had a fantastic selection of flashy curse word cars already so I'm not fussed by image etc, just looking for something interesting. A Mercedes 124 which I could eventually drop an M113 into is kinda where I'm at at the mo... Also any insurance recommendations welcomed!
Cheers,
Timbo
