With the price of fuel and the size of the cars Who is it that can drive one of these things ? My uncle john has alot of cars mostly yark Does the price go up because its big and American Does the price come down because of a limited number of people want / can afford to own or drive one So the question comes back to what's a car that's to big to drive on UK roads with uk fuel prices really worth It does look awesome driving about .. and everyone one stops to look So it's cool right ? So how much would the cool ness add to the price

Don't expect there are any Aussie Fords or Chryslers lurking amongst them are there?
In answer to your question I'de run a yank as a daily without a second thought but i would be sticking a gas conversion onto it. Sizewise they probably aren't a lot bigger than a modern vehicle and you just get used to dealing with it.

should clear 15k providing theres nothing wrong with it. some other money cars in that collection too. I'm dubious he'd own them if he didnt know their true valve.

My Uncle had a fair bit of yank stuff in the 70#s, including a corvette stingray. Wasn't so unusual back then..

i use my Cadillac Hearse as a daily (the one at RRG14 going up the hill climb on Sat morning),interspersed with the Carlton GSi. Fuel, well thats just part of the fun, seeing how far you can stretch a gallon to. Size, thats down to confidence/experience. If you have driven a transit, then you can drive a yank around, i recently found out that a transit wont fit on my trailer width wise , but my hearse and limo fit fine on it. I haven't done a gas conversion, mainly as i hate them, due to seeing too many badly fitted ones in Range Rovers in my time in a landy garage. They add more weight and use more fuel as a result in my eyes. insurance, if old like me, no worries, younger folk, insurance companies run away or price up to put you off. As for prices on them, the more original the better, Taxed and ticketed (even if MOT exempt) helps sell as the buyer knows its officially road worthy and not " Yeah thats fine mate, drove it down the road and back and it stopped" . Defo suggest trawling American ebay, converting the prices to pounds and adding a couple of % to the price and you are near. Alternatively a post or two other forums such as Rods and sods might help. Someone such as Valley Gas in Andover may also be able to assist in a ballpark figure if estimates are required. other than that, if i had the money and space, i would give you a couple of hundred for them all I hope that helps a little though.
