Heya all
Now am back from the weekend just wanted to post a few personal Thank You's.
Firstly to all the organizers & crew, not just for the hard work on the day/weekend, but also for the months & months of prep the event must have taken
Also thank you to everybody I met & talked to over the weekend (I was the skinny goth with green & black dreads) This was my first Gathering, and was a little nervous about it. Pointlessly so, as the whole atmosphere, the vibes, the feel everything the whole weekend was just perfect (even Friday's rain did nothing!)
Extra thank you to the guys from Yorkshire who's fire I spent the latter end of Saturday night around (& early hours of Sunday morning)
Seriously huge THANK YOU!!
Cannot WAIT till RRG 15!
xXx
(ps I've tried to stalk add people on FB, if I've missed you/not found you mines here )

Saw you talking to Bruce etc with the Area 52 guys a couple of times and then walking past the food stands on Sunday, but I didn't get a chance to say hello. Glad you had a good time, it's always a great atmosphere at RRG and I always love it. Maybe next time...

I also need to send several thanks out particulary to the organisers, and the gentleman with the blue trabant who lent me a Jerry can. Of course a special thanks needs to go to Violet Vivid for coming to my rescue when my DAF spluttered to a halt [sheepish look]Discovered later she had simply run out of petrol[/sheepish look]trying to get onto the show field.

hehe no problem hun!
I got to have a bit of a play getting back to my stand, as got to the top & didn't want to interrupt the traffic coming in.
...soo put Aryette in low box & trundled round the back of the que in the very top field, dropping down next to the marshals to apologize
which when like this:
Me: Sorry, pretty sure I shouldn't have done that
Marshal: hell no, was great to see one of these actually being used correctly!
Johnny definitely next time! Bruce did introduce me to people in the A52 gazebo friday night, but I'm terrible with names anyway. Did have a quick look round your Anglia though

That was you up on the side of the hill was it? I think everyone enjoyed watching that thing clinging on to the grass at a comical angle

I did it around 9am, and wasn't really pushing (the multi-coloured SWB Landy with a roofrack, ended up on the D.O.G.M.A stand)
Was GREAT to meet you Steve, next year I'll bring some wood for the fire (as well as more marsh mallows)

I have to thank the organisers for putting this together as well, it was an unforgettable day for me! I was there Sunday only unfortunately, with 3 friends but because we drove all the way from central France and back over the week-end we needed a rest on Saturday... we were in the lowered RX-8 on top of the show field (I hope our parking there wasn't too annoying, one of us has trouble walking because of handicap.
It's made me went to stay over the week-end next time, and maybe lend a hand for organizing too!

I didn't get a chance to say "hi" but I did follow you down the road for a few miles on the way out of the show. I like your Landy.

I didn't say 'hello' properly, but it was cool to see you (I was the fat drunk bloke on a bike talking bolleaux about car chases) - it's without doubt one of the best ways to spend a weekend, and I'd probably do it even if there wasn't a show on the Sunday. I was a bit disappointed that your hair wasn't purple, though.
