I know it's not particularly retro, but it's certainly getting there!
Here's my newest purchase, my little S reg Mk4 Ford Fiesta 1.3i Encore!
I purchased the car from a gentleman last week, who has took major care of the car since it was in his possession. The previous owner (from what I've been told) was an old lady who had the car from new. It's been garaged all it's life (which isn't surprising), It's a German built car which is in amazing condition, and it's just ticked over 26,000 miles!
There's only a few tiny imperfections in the paintwork, and apart from swirl marks from car washes (which is being sorted on Thursday courtesy of a full exterior machine polish and wax by Fine Shine Valeting), the bodywork is in amazing condition, especially considering it has never had any bodywork/paintwork carried out!
The previous owner bought the car in January 2013, and has spared no expense when it came to maintaining the car, he spent a fortune on it, which included ;
-Brand new Genuine Ford wheels, wheel trims, and Pirelli P3000 tyres.
-Genuine Ford interior mats.
-Full cooling system flush and refresh.
-Fanbelt and heater control valve replaced.
-Iridium spark plugs.
-Regulary serviced using Castrol Magnetix oil.
-Genuine Ford mud flaps all round.
-Fully rustproofed using a mixture of Waxoyl & ACF50.
It amazes me for a car of this age to not have a single bit of rust or rot anywhere, the sills, wheelarches, even the underside of the car is completely rust free! The interior is also like new, it makes me feel bad to use the car as my daily, but I know to look after this one, because of how good it really is.
Before anyone says it, because I know they will, I am aware that the Allycats look silly, and they are only on to keep the original wheels and trims in good condition...I think I've sorted some 14'' steel wheels out for it though, which will be getting painted silver...happy days!
eBay pictures first...
And a few of how it looks now, as I said, I am aware the Allycats look silly, but they're only a temporary measure until I get something else
I haven't really got many pictures of how it sits now, mainly due to the fact it's booked in to get a full machine polish (paint correction and wax) on Thursday, but I'll have plenty more soon! Thanks for looking!
