I wrote a whole review, then I press back. ahhhhhhhh
cut down version, sorry for my mistake.
show was a while ago, only just getting round to doing anything with the pictures though.
imagine a whole village given over to a car show for the day. this is pretty close to that and not just cars, we get bicycles, bikes, lorries, trains, steam engines, canal boats, the odd bus, tractors and horse drawn milk floats all at one show, it's hard to ask for more, then they have a flyby and a couple of live bands on.
have a smattering of pictures to peruse, the rest of mine can be found here www.flickr.com/photos/i-novocaine/sets/72157645027575718/.

post cavalcade the main show takes place on the big field, however the rest of the village is involved with model trains in the hall, steam engines at the pubs and nice cars dotted around the place, not to mention the 30-40 historic boats on the canal. the field is littered with exotic metal along with the more mundane but still cherished old girls, this doesn't mention the model aircraft, train ride, vintage amusements and bike trials that are interspersed with amazing motors.

A great show which can only get better, it is only the second year and the people who showed up were amazing, both in volume and in what they displayed, who knows, maybe next year RR can show up and show them how it's done.
This is, as said, just a smattering of my images from the day. Please go take a look at the rest of the images, hopefully you wont be disappointed. a parting shot, where else do you get to see this
