A friend's new retro ride for restoration - guess what it is

I visited a good friend of mine in Scandinavia last week, he always has a few interesting cars; there's a Overland-based hotrod as WIP, a Jag, an Anglia, Cortina and a Corvette. However, when he showed me this recent addition to his fleet I had no idea what it was, it has been partly stripped for restoration and has rust like I've never seen before. Can you guess what it is?

I'll post a completely worthless prize to the first person (if there is one) to correctly guess the make and model. I'll answer any questions without giving the game away and will add further pics later as I doubt anyone will get it from this one - which shows my shoe through what used to be part of the floor (!)
