Just picked up a 70 HB totally free for steel worm,... (very rare to find here in Norway) Plan is to swap for some more power and would like to go the Ford way,.. If anyone done this before, i would love to get some pointers..
Also on how to convert to discs up front
appreciate all the help i can get,....

if the ford crossflow fits, then the pinto should fit....just a thought

the pinto did come with a steel sump but if you have problems with the crossmember you can get the alloy sump from the RS which may help. The pinto should go in there as there is plenty of room providing it misses the steering etc and with a decent exhaust should see near on 100BHP with the bonus that a 5 speed will fit on the back of it, may have to knock the old tunnel out a bit and of course make a new hole for the gear shift. A good used pinto would prob cost you around the £300 mark maybe more but get a complete one with dizzy and carb Should be an easy fit if there is nothing in the way
