Whats it like for rust? I understand these are great at concealing it!!!! I think they restored on in PC back in the day and it was amazingly rotten!!! I would love to have a shot in one, I bet they are a great drive.

Chap i got it from restored it in 1997 and been garaged since and very little miles. It has rust yes, but as far as I can see it is cosmetic. I have mots since its resto and no mention of anything rusty on them over those years. It drives really well, better than many newer sports cars i have driven, better than the tvr s I have just sold too...

Took a trip out to Dave Bogg, East lutton, Malton. Great to watch an expert go to work on the carbs. Within 5 mins had the idle smoothed out. Found 3 faults:
Flooding on one body-float incorrect Accelerator cable not fully opening the butterflys Tuned by adjusting the idle circuit and fitting larger main jets
Tuned engine to 4500 revs, and engine showed about 120 on the dyno ( car has a slightly warm cam and tubular manifold).. On the road, pick up is better and cruises far better. Well worth 80 for 2 hours work. Highly recommended.

Doobie, thats it!! I may rest my tortured mind mow. Thanks! Just wanted to add also (perhaps more notably) this: That was a great read, thanks Boll. I can't believe that I never knew these had 3 seats. I've coveted them since I was tiny. Also want to publicise my glee upon noticing your location.

Tidied up the wheels and black trim. Waiting on a pair of chrome filters after getting the engine tuned at a local rolling road. Nearly 120 bhp from 1442cc is good I think. Car has a warm cam and tubular manifold.
