A friend has a 309 diesel I found for him a few years ago as he needed a cheap car.....he loves it but struggles with garages who are just not interested. The radiator has gone and he's been told to get a new car! I can find lots of new rads on line for 205s, but few (cheap) for the 309. Am I right in thinking they will be the same? From what I remember they are identical. There seem to be 2 types, one with built in header, screw top, or just the radiator with separate header next to the n/s strut top. Any help would be hugely appreciated!

Try a guy called welshpug he knows lots of shizzle about them, I'm sure he's on this very forum aswell.
Otherwise just take some measurements of the current rad and see which one pairs up with it.
