Cars he's had that I wish he'd kept (so I could have it ;D!) include: Mk 2 Jaguar which he totalled after hitting a pillar box Mk 1 Ford Cortina VW beetle (brush-painted chocolate brown.... nice!) Vauxhall Viva, M-plater in Yellow All were bought at a time when they didn't fetch much. Anyone else's relatives have anything they wish they'd kept hold of?

I've mentioned most of these before but here are a few I remember in no particular order: A black Austin Mini (with a numberplate starting KGB, purely by co-incedance, it would have been even funnier on a Soviet car! ;D ;D ;D ) About three Chevettes, two saloons and a three door hatch A Mazda B1800 with a tuned 2 litre B2000 engine, jacked up suspension, strenthenged cab and chassis, custom built box welded on huge box section things for bumpers, and wide black steelies, the overall effect was sort of half rat-look and half Dakar racer! ;D A silver and red PB Cresta which was nice but rusted to death, well it was quite old at the time, A massive list of Volvo 1, 2, 7 and 9 series saloons, almost all of which have been silver besides a few metallic red ones and the odd blue one. And I'm sure there have been plenty more.

Other than the ones he's had since I was around (Audi A6 quattro, mkII GTi, mkII XR2, mkII Escort), a shedload of mkI and mkII 'scorts, a mini or two and a Triumph Herald ("White and blue two tone with wide white wellers...") Mum crashed that one on the night of his 21st birthday - going along a familiar road with a medium radius left hand bend in it...at 3am...she turned 30 feet too early and went straight into the wall. This is a woman who once managed to park the XR2 with front wheel on the pavement and the rear wheel four feet from the kerb.

Top grammar tips! Bought = purchased. Brought = relocated Lose = misplace/opposite of win. Loose = your mum

- A35 Van (with rear seat conversion no less!) lol my grandparents had an A35 van with rear seats, long before my time but i always hear about it! i think in the end they stumped up for the extra tax for a 'car' over a 'van' and put porthole windows in.

My grand parents had an A35 van with rear seats too! It was the first car that they ever bought new. However, my grandmother hated it, especially as she really liked the car it replaced (a 1930s Triumph Dolomite)

... the only injury I sustained was a bumped head when I let the seatbelt of without realizing the car was upside down and that's not really the car's fault.
