I'm spending most of my weekend lugging boxes around, but I hope to find some time to get back to building some model cars  ... closest I'll get to car stuff this weekend I fear, any of the RR Community up to anything more interesting and car related?? |

Dismantling the oil pump on the 205. Hoping that its just a blockage. And fixing a water pipe leak on the eunos, may even take a trip to the local scrappy  |

Helping someone recover the centre console of his Alfa GTV with fresh vinyl tomorrow (which I'm sure won't be in any way a complete disaster). Leaving a new set of plugs in the boot of my Saab for weeks hasn't fixed the slight misfire when it gets really hot so hopefully I'll get round to fitting them too.

Along with cleaning the fleet I will be watching the Bathurst 1000 (on telly not in real life) They have a pre '76 touring car support race which was very excellent last year. WEC is at Fuji too

At the unit tonight trying to get the exhaust fixed (and modified) on the Mercedes. Rich is kindly coming over to help and fingers crossed, with his amazing exhaust skills, it'll have a lot more clearance from the tarmac and also be blowing a hell of a lot less.
Maybe try and sort a few things with the auto box too.
Tomorrow, if tonight goes to plan, taking the Merc to Devon to be a wedding car for Tom13 on here.
Sunday is the Queens Square meet. I might finally get to take the Land Rover after two and half years of desperately wanting to get it there. I was all ready for last months except the weather was abysmal and it was rained off.....here's hoping for better weather this weekend heh?

yes Id like to know what channel thats on too! (Not that I recieve TV.... hmmm is it streamed I wonder)
I'm going to try and find out why the Cavalier wants to kill me, and finish the log burner v2 so we can work on cars over winter without freezing to death!

this weekend will mainly consist of
Stripping and resetting a pair of strombergs for the imp in a hope it will solve its running issue following by retuning and roadtest
Awaiting on a new fuel pump for the Taunus to solve its running issue so I can start work on it's new manifold for a supercharger conversion, I think it'll fit. . .
of course if the imp carbs play ball the Taunus will wait and I'll be hooning about instead.

Picking up a starter motor for my Renault 5. Swapping it over and going to party! I'm going to heat wrap the rest of the down pipe and the starter motor this time. My silly exhaust run cooks them. |

I still need to move the new battery for the MG from the passenger footwell to the battery compartment.. Then hook it up and hopefully get it started and running!
Then the carbs need a tune as it was running very rich the last time I had it running...

For tonight I'm currently torn between tweaking my new rc car to set it up for drifting and my shorter bodyshell and fitting my new furry headlining to the cube.
Saturday should be a car free family day apart from a quick cube wash on the evening.
Sunday I'm heading to Santa Pod for Japshow finale.
