It is with a heavy heart that I am writing this ad but her indoors has said that 6 beautiful classics on the drive is more than enough for any man so I have to get rid of some (which I'm taking means 1 )
I'm still not 100% whether I want to get rid of this or a MK1 Golf Cabriolet I have (though I'd rather it be neither)
This beast has around 100k miles on the clock, has just sailed through an MOT even after being stood for a 1.5 years (it fired up within about 2 mins having not started it for at least 8 months) and comes with the following features:
Bucket Seats
Skinny gripless tyres for extra fun
Dixie Horn
CB Radio
Other questionable features include a squeaky heater that doesn't actually heat up and dodgy paintwork that has been made a lot worse by the previous owners (see a pic of the two crazy barstewards below) plastering it in stickers. With that said, there is minimal rot for a car of this age and it wouldn't take much other than a small amount of filling and a blow over to make it sweet.
Did I say how reliable it is? It's reliable. Probably does 30-40mpg too.
I guarantee whoever buys this will have the most fun they've had in a long time from any other car (if I don't change my mind in the mean time)
A real head turner and last of a dying breed. I don't think I've seen another on the road since I have owned it!
I'm looking for £695 o.v.n.o
Will add more pics when I get chance, I'm in Macclesfield and you're welcome to come and see it whenever you wish. I've also added a picture of the mk1 golf in case you want to make me an offer on that and I can keep this. The Golf is in much better condition body/paint wise, fitted with a 1.6 diesel and looks to be the original colour too but as I say, I don't really want to sell either so I'll be upset either way.
