An amazing survivor considering how rapidly these used to rot. I spy Berwick upon Tweed in the background. I have plenty of memories of Metros trundling around Berwick and the borders in the 90s usually with scabby wings.

I had the spi version of that in my mini. Make sure you change the oil regularly, as the 1.3 gives the clutch plates a hard time.

It's ate up around 250 miles in the last week or so without issue, still makes me grin, and from my tentative calculations is returning around 35mpg which is astounding. *n
