There's scarce information on G reg mk2's.
Mine was 25 years old last month, the G platers came about by being on the forecourt and we're eventually the last registered ones.
I did read somewhere that there were 14 G plate ones.
That was 25 years ago so no idea how many are left. I know of 4 via forums etc

They can fetch up to £50 each on ebay these days for NOS, I got one for £30 recently but want another new one to replace one that is pretty good but not perfect. DMB graphics do all the vinyl ones pretty cheap - i got my ford numberplates, tax disc holder and rear screen sticker off them. They do quite a few of the old style dealer sets.
