Forst visit in 4-5 years and thoroughly enjoyed it. Your pics are infinitely better than the blurry nonsense I came away with. I had a surreal moment on the Burton stand whilst heading to look at that Alan Mann Escort. I saw a bloke I vaguely recognised sat there minding his own business. I was walking towards him trying to place him and he saw me looking at him. Then I twigged who it was. Not someone I actually know but Barry "leapy" Lee who used to be quite good at this sort of caper: At this point I came over all starstruck and blurted out "You're Barry Lee!". To his great credit he shook my hand (and my daughter's) and greeted us like old friends despite not having a clue who we were. An absolute gentleman.

Great pics! I went early on Sunday and also struggled getting good pics on the SLR.
Gutted I didn't see the Nova's!

I was manning the Lancia Beta stand on Friday and Saturday. Saturday was heaving - real elbows out stuff trying to get to the autojumble.
Great shots you got there. I especially liked the Toyota touring car and the Sirocco convertible.

Nice pics Do you mind if I nick the one of my mates rusty bug he'll love it? Was on the AVWOC stand Saturday and Sunday. Saturday was crazy busy, Sunday seemed a bit quieter. Think I managed to get around everything - just. Awesome show, lots of retro content too.

Bloke is a Gentleman and a legend. Got my photo with him and everything.

Best set of photos I have ever seen come out of that show Dan. I have given up on going because of the crowds but they do remind me how good it can be. That Burton Power Anglia is just awesome!

I'm doubly sad I couldn't make it this year, looks like a show of vintage quality. No pun intended. Or achieved, really . Anyhoo, thanks for the pics. Think you're too harsh on yourself, every time I try to take photos in there they come out looking like they've been developed in a solution of tango

Certainly didn't see Barry Lee, used to watch him back in the day, I'm gona go for 2 days next time I go
