Hello again!
Number 3 of 5, my long term project is up for sale as there is no chance of me finishing it due to family/work commitments.
The car runs and drives nice, the exhaust rear box has been removed and replaced with straight pipe so it sounds nice and fruity.
Engine has had a new distributor cap, rotor arm, crank sensor so it runs spot on. Radiator has also been replaced as the original was starting to leak. I have also fitted LPG, it has a round in-date tank in the spare wheel well, all new pipe work under the car leading to a mixer system under the bonnet. The filler has been hidden behind the rear number plate. It will need the tank bolted down and the system filled/tested as it has not been fully finished yet. the engine doesn't lose any oil or water and has not let me down over the last year of ownership.
All springs are new apex lowering jobbies, it was stupid low before and now its a lot better! All tyres are nearly new and the wheels are in good condition so it looks quite presentable. Mechanically I can't think of anything that needs attention, should be mechanically ok for some time.
The interior is full leather, electric everything, in very good condition but has the usual sagging head lining.
The body needs a bit of love. It is in good overall condition but is suffering from slight laquer peel on the drivers side and has a slight bend in the boot lid. Otherwise it is rust free and ready for someone to paint it or roll it how it is, it's still pretty enough as it is.
Also comes with an (worth anything???) interesting number plate, E66 YYB (EGGY YB) ideal if you have a weird smelling Cosworth engined car
Like I said at the beginning this has been a project, now it needs someone else to take the baton and finish it off or use as is.
It does hurt to sell as I was determined to keep this car but sometimes curse word happens so it's time to move on
Message me or call for more details.
Many thanks, Steve
