Our local Rotary Club held a Bike Show today, although they let cars in too. There was a pretty decent turnout. Here are some pics.
I’ll do the bikes first – I don’t know a lot about them as I’m not a bike person, however some of them were interesting.
Military Harley
Not the World’s fastest
Old Harley with sidecar
Invincible J, which looks like it has had an interesting time link
Enough 2 wheeled death traps, time for cars.
Lovely original Mercury
Another Mercury
My barber’s toy – original RHD assembled in Port Melbourne
This looked hard as nails
Helpful number plates mean no need for a caption
Nice Mustang
Red Cadillac
Which didn’t have the back end I was expecting
However there was a blue one that did
Rod – best view, front end was spoilt by a modern electric fan hiding behind the grille
2 Fords
Little bit of local history – the garage in the main street used to be a Ford Dealer. It was run by the same family until last year.
Another helpful plate
An oval racer of some sort?
Chevy truck
Patina
Work in progress Ford
Another Ford (I think – had my 5yo with me and he’d started to run out of patience by this stage)
