I've been let down on the winter storage for my Porsche, so it looks like it's gonna have to sit on the drive under a cover through the winter.
Does any one have any recommendations for a good outdoor cover that won't scratch her to bits, to keep the weather off her? (Or failing that, a secure undercover spot in the Luton area?)
Cheers
Jimmy

As said, covers cause more damage than you'd imagine. They ripple in the wind and chaff the paint work. Also, moisture gets trapped underneath and can cause micro blistering as it has nowhere to escape to apart from into the paint. I see it quite often when people pull the cover off of a car after winter, only to find their car Covered in these marks. My advice, keep it protected with a quality wax or sealant and open it up every now and then to allow fresh air in and stop the interior going stale. And get yourself a plastic box - Like one of those xmas Biscuit boxes - stab a few holes in the lid and half fill it with salt - put the lid back on - put in the cabin - front seat or wherever and the chemical composites of salt will draw moisture into it keeping your interior dry and free of dampness, check it every month to see if the salt needs renewing
