Thought I would share some of the cars I've owned over the last 10 years or so. Nothing majorly out of the ordinary but at least they are a bit different from cars that most of my friends, family etc own and drive. I'll start with my Eunos Roadster. Sold it in Aug 13 when I could not get in or out of it due to chronic back problems. Backs a lot better now and tried, unsuccessfully to buy it back earlier this year. Only car I have regretted selling. photobucket.com/user/peterhwilson/media/imagejpg4_zps5fb28a62.jpg.html]

Next up my first Mercedes 190 which was a carburettor car and gave nothing but trouble. It's parked here with my Marlim Roadster. photobucket.com/user/peterhwilson/media/imagejpg2_zps5e7ab81e.jpg.html]

Here's another one of my Marlin Roadster about 10 minutes after I had picked it up in Stranraer. It was based on a 1.3 Morris Marina although was fitted with a 1.6 Ford pinto engine and Four speed gearbox. Had it for nearly two years and was great fun. Sold to help pay for a new gas central heating system. Life sucks sometimes. photobucket.com/user/peterhwilson/media/imagejpg1_zpsec53cc77.jpg.html]

Next up my MG Midget. This was a rebuild project which was left with a bodyshop who kept it for three tears and did precious little to it. Got fed up and eventually sold it on in a huff. Wish I'd kept it but there you go. photobucket.com/user/peterhwilson/media/imagejpg1_zps69b1dc90.jpg.html]

Next our MGF. Bought when it was about six years old and the only one to be bought on HP. Wife did loads of miles in it in the two years we had it. Wouldn't mind another but would have to be a VVC one.photobucket.com/user/peterhwilson/media/imagejpg1_zpsa6fe7a9a.jpg.html]

My first Saab a NG 90se. Was a nice car but the hood never worked properly so got rid of it after 6 months. Excuse the drug dealer alloys! photobucket.com/user/peterhwilson/media/imagejpg3_zps40ddbbe0.jpg.html]

After the Saab I bought my second 190. Thankfully this was an injection car so no dodgy carb to worry about. Moved it on when I bought my Volvo. photobucket.com/user/peterhwilson/media/imagejpg2_zps9057d192.jpg.html]

After the black 190 I bought the 740 Volvo estate which has a thread of its own. After the Eunos went I tried to get a W124 but couldn't find anything suitable so ended up buying this. It needed MOTd which it passed with no problems. The car had a full service history with a folder full of receipts and old MOTs. It even had notes on the receipts about the service that had been given by each garage used. Unfortunately someone had chopped the springs and as my back was still bad at the time it was harder to het in and out of than the Eunos.. Was going to replace the springs but as I also find 190s tight for space between the steering wheel and drivers seat I ended up selling it on. This was replaced with the Saab 96 which also has its own thread. s24.photobucket.com/user/peterhwilson/media/imagejpg1_zpscc2802dc.jpg.html]

This brings me to my most recent purchase. A chance discussion at a car show led to the acquisition of this 240 GLT. Unfortunately it had been standing for a couple of years and had suffered badly from tin worm. It's now been sold onto a Volvo enthusiast who had been searching for ages for a white 240 GLT. It's going to be lowered and fitted with banded steels so hopefully I can get him to put a thread up here. photobucket.com/user/peterhwilson/media/imagejpg3_zps37222b1e.jpg.html]

That's me up to date. There's always something else that catches my eye so there will probably be more added to this list although not for a while as I'm struggling to drive at the moment due to problems with my right arm. I've just found this my first car a 1977 Mini Clubman bought in 1986. It was a complete rot box but great fun. Apologies for the quality of the photo. photobucket.com/user/peterhwilson/media/imagejpg1_zps2b1306f2.jpg.html]

Bit of an update. The blue 190e is back up for sale on Gumtree and Carandclassic. Alloys have been refurbed, new tyres and standard springs have been fitted. He's looking abour £2k for it. The white 240 GLT apparently was sold on to someone else and has had a shed load of welding done to it. Its MOTd and is smoking about mid Ulster. Unfortunately my old 740 Volvo was wrecked in a botched attempt to steal it and has now gone to the big highway in the sky. Currently I have two Saabs, a yeR 2000 9-5 Aero estate for everyday use and my old 1971 96 V4. There may be some news on it soon so might be up for a new purchase soon.

Best of both worlds. 9-5 Aero estate, powerful, rapid and loads of room. Then there's the V4, a true classic and fantastic car.

Comfortable and powerful but its just not doing it for me. Keeping it until its MOT and then I'll see. Bit of a waste too as I'm doing very few miles now. Currently thinking about going down to one car but getting something old enough to be able to go on classic runs/shows and that my wife would be happy driving. Fancy a W123 Mercedes but getting hard to find. I'll see what happens.

Hope it doesn't mean you'll be getting rid of the 96 though. Will

Nice collection peter, I like the mgf as you know! Cheers Dan. Nice machine to drive altough that photo was taken about eight years ago not long before it was sold. Replaced by the red 190 behind it. Last time I checked it was still MOTd but on a SORN so hopefully its still around.
