Here is my another project. I bought a moped like this from my customer. This is 1975 Puch Maxi S . Made in Austria 50cc moped. It has less then 3000 miles on it , but it was abandoned for last 35 years. Engine was seized up , gas tank rusty , all cables were frozen. I put some brake fluid in the cylinder and in two days I got the piston loose. Then I cleaned carburetor , ignition points and engine fired up ! But I just could not leave it all stock , so I modified few things. Here it is .

Great find, they're pretty common over here in the UK, my friend had one for a while although it didn't have a number plate, When I was16 I had a Puch m3 sport( that wasn't so sporty) and I've had a Puch MS50D in my garage for a long while now, Good work on the maxi, keep it up

thanks guys , I'm glad you like it. I just saved it from the metal scrapper. I hate to see things like this being destroyed.

Thanks, I think there are a few your side of the pond, they were sold under the Allstate brand in the 50's/60's, there isn't much love for mopeds in the UK, your lucky as there seems to be a big following over there in the USA, Keep us updated,

Like It! I've got a Maxi s and a Maxi n tucked away in the garage. It's a coincidence that you have used a Redline stem on your S, as mine has Redline cruiser bars on it. It is also modified (unfinished) but with more of a super moto theme. I will dig it out and take some pics if you like.
