My resolutions as follows (I haven't made any non-car related ones - far too tricky!)
1. Buy a V8 - Already done with my Christmas purchase of a Disco V8 which is awesome! Wife and kids also love it which is a bonus.
2. Sell the daily Polo
3. Get new sills on the E28 and lower it - it will then be what I consider "complete" so I can just enjoy it.
4. Drag the E34 out of its slumber and consider what to do with it. I think it cost me too much, I'm concerned about the body but its a manual 3.5 with an LSD so its gotta be worth some effort...
5. Spend a bit more time on here - I've been away for a while and even stopped lurking (not really sure why) but this morning's reading has renewed my faith in you lot and my own time / ability.

My main focus is going to be to get most of the welding done on the MG. There's a lot to do, and I haven't started it yet, despite it being in my ownership for well over a year now. It's all going to come down to how much money and time I get, as I'm living 60 miles away from it and living of a student budget. I'm also yet to get my welding skills up to scratch so we will just have to see how it goes, but fingers crossed I will be spending 2016 doing paint, suspension and electrics. The next task will be to get rid of the missus 205. It dies recently, I think due to a leaky carb, so we'll be moving that on, hopefully to someone who will put a little time and money in and get her going again. Lastly, I'm going to get this little freak going again, possibly if I have the cash spare, tax and insure it for a last little bit of fun, and then sell it onto someone who will treasure it.

Might take it for a blast round now if I feel up to it! 1900 CVH on twin 45's, do it! Also, dibs on the 'Tina when you get rid Tempting to put something in it but 1ltr is so fun to drive! And no on the cortina. Id have to be dead to get rid wont be happening i hope! Lol

i have a lot of car related resolutions to get on with starting with this one tomorrow I bought this april last year now, have done a shed load of work to this one, seriously. so far new front floor pans , a pillars, strut tops and cups, inner wing repairs and have been smoothed. repaired the heater bubble properly, new inner sills. last major job is to install the tunnel and make the mounts up. going to be painted back to its original sahara beige...hmmmm. naturally will be kissing the floor knowing me got to have this done soon cant believe how much work was needed, if only I knew! will be worth it in the end though.(forgot / also couldn't be arsed to take pictures and do a thread as response was minimal..) but then again I had no time to be snapping juts needed to get the work done here..) then once the escort is at least mobile again, replace the box in this mated to its brand new 1500 pre xflow motor. tidy it up and seriously attack the paintwork it has faded big time due to me being uninterested about it over the last tear I guess! take the wheels and hubs of bang on some restyles on low pros, and wave goodbye to it. I have had it nearly 5 years now done and learnt a lot on it, but feel the time has come to move it on. at the end of the day regardless I saved it being scrapped! and my current mobile old ford, this monster! this really needs nothing mechanical doing to it at all for the time being, fixed a cold start issue and fully serviced. might buy a set of different wheels for it soon or see whats in the garage ... just using it daily'ish for the time being. might move it on, or put a cvh/zetec in it later this year? might not? who knows.. Might take it for a blast round now if I feel up to it! and then I STILL have this. my first ever car and will be my last I have always said. Man, I just get so distracted (see cars above!!!) its unreal. I have everything panel wise for this new front wings front panel etc etc . have the COMPLETE rwd duratec (yes duratec not zetec!) kit in corner of the spare room. I have always had big big plans and seriously need to attack this. makes me cry inside when I was 13 I think when I got it , I'm now 21. darn. also bought a e36 bmw touring for a reliable daily chuck bout hack/chuck pick car bits up in it(bargain it was) but needs a proper service and a knocking balljoint/droplink/bush sorting. might lower it a bit more as well... I can hear you cry 'for gods sake not project no.5' . no photos yet of this as I have not taken any Yeah so it is fair to say- I have a LOT to be getting on with this year. starts with the tunnel in the mk2 tomorrow! Slammage, are you in the bexley area? I'm sure i have seen the fiesta around here. Like it

I plan on selling the Leone that has been restored from 2011 until 2014 but it´s not giving me enough pleasure when driving, so it has to go. The two Pajeros are going to stay, but the brown V6 3000 needs a lot of money thrown at until it is fine again so I will concentrate on this one: My daily driver will have to go too. The Mazda 6 has been a good friend, always reliable, but I own it since autumn 2013 and it is getting boring. Don´t know yet what car will replace it. Must sell it first. Lukas

Get the Coupe back on the road, drop the engine replace the leaking rear crankshaft oil seal and replace the main and big end bearings whilst it's out.
Then add a new rear axle, front and rear ARBs, new Accuspark programmable ignition and a new TC intake plenum.

On the Fiesta, I'd be tempted to stick a 4 branch on it and bigger carb, maybe a cam at a push, would be a wizzy little thing!

I think you need to re read it doesn't read like that to me- just reads like I got distracted way too much haha Nah rather leave it standard as I don't want to go too far with it what with the escort not mobile yet and corsair not with a working box and sold .

A bit boring but my aim is to spend nothing on my current car, clear my remaining debt and own a Lexus Soarer 2.5 twin turbo before the year is out.

To get my Bluebird Coupe running and driving. Body work can come much later in time. Plan is a simple one, to rebuild the engine, get a custom exhaust made, new fuel pump, alternator, belts and battery, water hoses, replace the suspension bushes, new tyres, brake bleed, fluids and enjoy. Should't be too hard or expensive.

Mine are to concentrate on sorting the Clio, Stop being such a lurker and post more here. Also to get off my lazy butt and attend some meets as there are some on here that are local to me in Surrey. Mostly to attend the RR show this year in the Clio.

I'd rather loose by a mile cause I built my own car than win by an inch because someone else built it for me. Your car is your story, so don't let anyone else write the book.

Mine are simple.
1. To finish the year with one or more of my daily drivers in better nick than they began it.
2. Thin the herd.
3. Get one one of my projects in the road.

I intend to go for the year without buying any more vehicles (well, maybe one motorbike, but only if I sell one first...)
I also want to get the Blazer to a state where I can at least drive it out of the garage (mostly brakes and needs tyres as one of my 35" tyres has perished the sidewall).
Not strictly car related, but I've got a horse trailer to refurb before the 5th April, and a Honda Transalp to finish rebuilding too (bad weather commuter, if I ever get the docs back from the DVLA). And some plastics to respray for my GSXR 750.

Tick the Bathurst 1000 off the bucket list. Running out of excuses now as it's only an 9-ish hour flight from here.
