Was keeping this as a side project but could be doing with the money for my Lotus now.
This is an "Intermediate" Motor meaning it has a serpentine front end and crank driven oil pump but runs a distributor.
Block has been cleaned and pressure tested, found to be fine, bores were honed, original pistons checked and found to be fine so re ringed, crank journals checked and polished so are standard size, new big end and main bearings fitted, cam bearings checked and cleaned, new 3.9 EFI cam installed.
Sump was fabricated to fit a Ford Escort crossmember (welding needs finished) also pick up pipe lengthened to suit so will be ideal for an Escort or Capri conversion.
Heads are bare and stripped, was going to have these checked, skimmed and built up with new valves etc, started porting them myself but then started looking out for a pair of fancy heads on E-bay which i think would be a more economical option, heads, valve covers, and rockers included in sale so buyer can do what they like .
Front cover included but needs oil pump fitted back in (i was going to fit a new one but old gears supplied)
Will throw in a Mallory dual points distributor, alternator, starter and whatever else i have.
No induction system parts at all as i planned on buying a Holley carb and inlet manifold.
