this is my first car and ive had it for just over a year, done quite a few things in that year mainly replacing the filler with actual metal (thank you 90s chavs) so yeah pictures I'm yet to do any engine mods due to insurance but so far its had clear indicators, mk3 rear lights, recaro seats, rs wheels from a capri i think? sparco deep dish steering wheel, koni shocks and ive no idea what springs or how low they are but yeah

Both my Recaros did the exact same thing, they're really weak but luckily very easy to fix and make stronger than original. I'd recommend doing it, they're great seats and worth money!

Regarding the seat/s, take them out and fix them! There'll be a large piece of material underneath that will have split in half which causes the bases to collapse since nothing is supporting them/your weight. It's held on with hooks and the whole thing is quite flimsy and weak since they break easily. You can either keep the hooks and replace the material with something stronger or (as I have) remove all the hooks and then use nuts and bolts that secure whatever material you use to hold the bases up. It literally takes 5 minutes and will last forever, I'd highly recommend it

Sweet looking motor pal

I then wanted to start cleaning the interior as it stinks of wood (the material not the smell of a boner) best quote ever!

Looks good Will, had a mk4 in the same colour myself. Wish I've had the space to keep hold of it
