Hey folks not really a new guy signed up years ago but some how had to re register now. Anyway this site has inspired me to get started on my car. Heres the story: In 1973 my Mom purchased a second had but newish Granada Perana Coupe 312km on the clock. Growing up in it I learned to drive on it and eventually got one myself. That was early to mid 90's It had a Paxton supercharged 351c and 4sp 18x10 Antera 121 bmw LSD Mercedes disk breaks allround. Notorious for street and drag racing where I lived. Long story short it was stolen and then crashed. I packed up an moved to NZ got me a new one a few months later.

I love that colour. My dad's very first new car, a Ford, had the same colour. One day I paint a car in that colour! Oh, I like your car too....

sounds great, was the paxton 351 engine a cleveland? i have a cleveland block in my garage awaiting a car to transplant into, either mk2 granny/escort/capri V8:- ford motorsport don't make cleveland blocks or heads for that matter think 440ci is 4.185 bore and thats about the max on a arrow or tod block, however i read that a new revision arrow block could goto 4.2 bore irc still 900+ hp in a mk1 granny sure sounds like fun whether its a cleveland or not

Old school Paxton and Holley projection. I love the Cleavelands still do,but at the time there was not much for it or at least any that I could afford. Today though 351c looks very promising, new blocks,CHI heads awsome stuff.

Hey Folks not much to report still don't have time for the car work life stuff like that. I have bought a few more parts though. Griffon Race Radiator A set of NOS MK1 Granada sport Mirrors. Costed an arm and leg. But this is so worth it. IMHO I feel anything else just does not suit the car at all. An the wheel...

This is just such a stunner...!!!!!!!! We need to see more very soon! Sure just let me know what you want to see? Most of the body parts are out getting remade in Carbon fibre. And diffs not fitted yet so can fit the rear wheels yet.

Hey PeranaGT. Sorry to bug you. Your Granada is looking great and I assume you are in N.Z now! I was just wondering if you could tell me about those twin headlamp bezels in the pictures. They look professionally done and I wonder if they are and aftermarket accessory not available in U.K or if they are custom made? Cheers Vince
