this is a great story...I'm amazed how some folks can swap engines with seeming ease!....I'm sure it was more of a to do than your pics hint at! It has come a long way...looks great Jp Being an old diesel lump, these isn't really much to disconnect. 2 14mm bolts for the engine mounts, 2 14mm bolts for the gearbox mount, pop out the driveshaft, unplug the speedo cable, Disconnect the 2 rad hoses and 2 heater hoses, Pull off the fuel line from the filter and return line intake manifold and exhaust manifolds,battery wires, and its ready to come out. Takes about 30 mins to have it ready to pull out.

Great build! The wheels are lovely although a bit on the small side. What are they? They are Work Crag Country Racing Gear 3 piece split rims, Period correct made in June 1992, 15x8J ET0 currently with 215/60/R15 Continental tyres on. For me the size is right, not too big with a decent size tyre wall, as she is still used as a truck.
