Hi, In common with most folks about these parts, i struggle to have 1 car at a time, and I am always chasing the next project. Back in Sept 2014, I decided to start writing about my experiences whilst persuing these projects-and started Fu'Gutty cars.. I'd be interested in your thoughts and opinions re the articles produced so far.. The blog can be found here(previous articles back to sept 2014 are in the archive) fuguttycars.wordpress.comTwitter feed: @fuguttycars So far I've got BMWs, Toyota, Jaguar/Daimler, Renault and VW models written about-hopefully something in there most of you can enjoy! Please post your comments-I'd welcome the feedback! Thanks

Too Blue Couldn't Read.
Seriously though Man, I've got a headache and I only looked at the pictures. Don't take offence, but the background is terrible, can't even read the grey text on it.
Once you've got that sorted I'll have a look at the rest!

Always nice to read a good story on how it is to live with old cars, but i have to agree with EmDee that the grey on blue really hurts your eyes. Also the pictures should be bigger, and it would be nice if they open in a new window/tab if they're clicked. the writing is enjoyable though, so keep it coming!

What Emdee Says man, the blue burns your eyes.... for blogs always good to do black text white background or even light gray background, will make reading it far more enjoyable without the need for headache tablets :-)Pictures are great dude, look forward to seeing more of this blog, i will carry on reading with the blue background though

Pics i can make bigger-the latest ones should have larger pics- need to resize retrospectively on tbe older ones. Glad you like the writing style!

Take a look at the wordpress templates, there's hundreds on there both free and to pay for that will make it look instantly 100 times more professional.

Will have a look when i get an opportunity-looks like it is more style than content that needs adjusting based on comments so far.. Should be the easier of the two to resolve. Thanks

Are you more interested in writing the blog for your own pleasure, or writing it in order to get a lot of views? If the former, any decisions on content length/type/etc are entirely your own call. If the latter, you need to be making listicles with clickbait headlines. I'm no expert on blogging, but I've been doing it since 2007 and it seems to be going OK. This is mine - www.sucksqueezebangblow.co/ - all pretty basic stuff, and my approach has always been to assume that no-one's actually reading it. I just write about what I want to write about, and if someone finds it interesting, that's great. But there's a lot of blogs out there, it's never going to be Top Gear. Still, 1.7m pageviews since I started equates to about 590 views a day, which ain't bad. My advice would be to just write what you want to write and see how it goes... oh, and keep an eye on the analytics, if you want a vague steer on what's being viewed and shared most (including dwell time; i.e. are people just clicking in, or clicking and actually reading). Oh, and bigger pictures

Sorry it was brief my youngest required my presence. I was going to say that your writing style is real good. Comical and informative which imo is spot on. Good stuff and keep it up.

Oh, and bigger pictures Thanks-most useful! Reason for writing it is two fold: document some of the shenanigry get stuff out my head and onto the blog. Initially it was done purely for myself, but as i've shared it about some places there seems to be some liking of my style. Its a hobby that can be donw when all the money has gone on parts, and the rain is too heavy!
