As a teenager I always thought that the Fiesta Zetec S was the coolest of the hot hatches! Imperial Blue ones especially! I'm going to keep hold of this one for a little while I think! Surprised I haven't seen six pages of E46 M3 too!

I think the E36 318is coupe will make a come back, Don't see many of them these days. Said this before about the E36 318iS, these are a no brainer right now. I saw a clean original low mileage car on my local supermarket's ad board for £900. At that money you can't lose. Had no spare cash at the time, shame as I really fancied it.

Any 90's coupe, probe, audi coupe ,calibre ,corrado, hyundia coupe, rover tomcat, they are all worthless at the mo, and unless you are committed to keeping them alive it's money down the drain, but sometime soon there will be very few left and the price has got to rise surely..... I am that soldier! I have two - one I bought back in 2000 (it was 6 years old) and don't like to think about the depreciation and another I bought 9 years later for £102. There are around 900 left on the roads and about the same number on SORN. Prices for good, low mileage ones are starting to creep up, cheap ones are still cheap.

The Avantime's slightly more sensible brother - the Vel Satis. This one was mine. I will regret selling it one day.

Any drift car.
200sx's have skyrocketed. I remember 5 years ago turning cars for £200 down. Same cars are now £2000-£3000. Hows that for an investment

Because me and the mrs own one each, would like to throw in the suggestion of the MG ZR
you could probably chance your arm at the others from the same era, MG ZS, MG ZT and the MG F / TF

I've spent most of my day thinking about roadsters that would fit the bill for this.
Honda S2000. BMW Z3 & Z4.
And my dream car, Dodge Viper. A car that's never going to look outdated. They're pretty much all garage queens in the UK so wear and tear won't see them all ruined in 20 years time.

I've spent most of my day thinking about roadsters that would fit the bill for this. BMW Z3 Have been keeping an eye on these and they hit rock bottom a couple of years back, have stayed low, expect the nice ones to start going back up soon. (You can pick up manual 2.8's from just £1500!)

I've just re-awoken a Z3 2.8 from an 8yr slumber and i have to say i am surprised and very impressed in the way it drives/feels (helps it only has 40k km on it, shame its lhd). I'm surprised how cheap these are, think they are much under appreciated, the reviews from the time from wanna be drifter writers in some quarters didn't help, however since they have been featured in Practical classics last year they are bound to creep up Near 200bhp and a lovely tracatable straight6 for not alot of beer tokens

Mercedes-Benz SLK My dad's just bought one of these. Never looked at them twice before now. And now I have supercharger envy.

Thing that people don't seem to know (me either until recently) is the post 98/99 6 pots (2.8 defo) have factory LSD's. Really fancy a late 2.8 manual with the LSD

I have an E36 318is, which I have owned for just under 10 years and has covered 71,000 miles with full history and is immaculate. It does have a few modifications, but they're all OEM BMW or high end recognised items, but I have been putting it back nearer to standard to sell. Thought it was a car I'd keep forever, but looking to slim my collection down. Great car and the good E36's in any guise stand out over the rubbish at the moment.
