This is my Brothers Wolseley Hornet he has owned the car a few years, But now has the money to start. It is a 1966 mk3 hornet. Has beem converted to dry suspension, running mk1 cooper S brakes, Dunlop D1 wheels, 1380, twin SU's, straight cut gear box, ect. is a quick car.
(when we got it)
I am going to strip it to a bare shell, this month. Has already had a passanger floor and A panel. But i still need to weld in a new drivers rear floor and outer sill.
Not sure if its one of these or a Riley Elf? What were the differences?
Mainly the badges and Grille's, good old BMC Badge Engineering. Generally, the Wolseleys got a bit of extra bling in the trim dept over the Austin, Morris versions and the Riley got the extra trim bling and a bit of pep up dust over the engine.
Cracking little car, looked good before the resto started, gonna look excellent after. A proper 'throwback' to 70's mods, love the powerlump
