I just cant leave these B4 Audis alone.. Anyway, This is a 1994 Audi S2 Avant, (For those who don't know - Audi 80 Quattro with a 5 cylinder 20v Turbo engine with 230bhp, a 6 speed gearbox and decent sleeper in its day) So an S2 is a cool car, maybe even a legend, well certinaly on youtube. This one was a Demo car for Scotts Audi when new. Not only did it have Full leather, heated seats, Alpine sound system, electric sunroof, cruise control, elipsoide lights, 4 elec windows, carbon trim ect.. It was FROM THE FACTORY fitted with a Nothelle engine conversion. Making this car a rare N300. One of less than 10 Factory Avants. (hardly surprising given the 40k bill of sale) What was an N300? The German VAG Tuning company fitted a big turbo, polished head, remapped ECU ect and the cars produed and 320bhp and 330ftlb. (RS2 was 315hp) As well as a suspension pack and brake upgrade. This car is now making a bit more power on the Dyno than it was, and the Brakes upgraded again to Porsche items. Aside from the Miltec exhaust it just looks like a normal Audi 80. 0-60 in the high 4 sec region and I did see an indicated 170mph on a private A5. Whats the catch? its a dog, which I am in the process if making presentable.

Thanks Rob, I also own the 944 Again. Its going to be a tough choice which to take to events this summer.
This is my 4th S2 and I know it will be the last as they are getting too expensive and very hard to find.

Always enjoy following your tinkering. We need some pics of the S2 before it's tidy up begins.

Excellent work! If the work you did on the 80 Avant is anything to go by you certainly know how to turn dogs around!

Thanks, after I re attach the headlining, find the clonk on the n/s/f and a few more fettles (it really was bad) I will be changing the suspension to H&R coilovers and fitting some decent wheels. The standard look just doesn't suit its personality, see below... I think the Miltek exhaust was designed for an RS2, hence the length for the bigger bumper. The Nothelle Turbo and manifold have were removed by Dialynx performance, who fitted- RS2 Airbox RS2 Injectors RS2 Intercooler RS2 Exhaust manifold. RS2 ECU /3 bar map sensor. RS-VT Hybrid. And some other bits, it can probably make more like 400hp with a larger turbo hot side but I am unsure if the rods are standard, or which bottom end it now has, its fast enough in its current guise, its basically a re mapped RS2, just the looks letting it down.

its basically a re mapped RS2, just the looks letting it down. I disagree!! Even RS2's aren't that in your face but with stock S2 bodywork its a total sleeper!
