Hi guys Haven't had a retro ride since my old Kamei Audi Coupe and R32 GTR. Anyhow picked this up as a bargain today and have bought it as a little project, it looks tidier in the pics than it is in person but it has potential. Its running the 5.0 TPI engine with the "performance Suspension" extras on it. Plans are to get everything working as it should, remove rear silencer and repaint a few panels so at least a few of them match in colour lol if anyone has any parts give me a shout!

I had a good morning on the car, cleaned out throttle body and looked at the wiring ( runs on 7 on light throttle and when blipping) seems the dizzy cap and rotor need to be changed, also ordered a new rad cap and service parts found these two random connectors on the drivers side, however I think they MIGHT have been for the A/C? also noticed a split breather pipe too Looking for an indicator stalk and possibly a wiper motor

bit of an update guys
so far the list of new parts is....
two new tyres, dizzy cap rotor arm plugs leads fuel filter front discs and pads rear discs and pads temp sensor bonnet strut
A bit of weld on the downpipe and an MOT has been done showing that
two new tyres needed (now on)
Handbrake needs adjusting (will be done with new discs)
front brake hoses
not bad for a 30 year old car for £2250
it still needs
PAS pulley Crank damper pulley (rubber bit is shot) two plates of welding Column stalk Straight through exhaust (got to be done) Repaint burgundy bits in "nicer" metallic burgundy

That's a lot of car for the money. A local character who owns the truck stop on the A14 has a white one as a daily, it just oozes personality.
If that were mine it'd be called Ron Burgundy - Anchor-Trans-Am.
Stay classy Retro Rides.

Well it looks like it could have an MoT by the end of the week Car has had new discs and pads, leads, plugs, rotor arm , dizzy camp, temp sensor, two tyres, bonnet strut, front brake hoses, handbrake cables, indicator stalk, harmonic damper. The price of parts for these cars are so cheap it is amazing, all in on the road it should owe me about £2800 but will need a repaint at sometime due to it looking like ass!

Well the car is MOT'd and is now on the road
Sadly the misfire is still present in cruising throttle and light throttle, and also a vibration is present through the drivetrain .
All brakes and now new and the exhaust has been played with to sound like a proper v8 now.
Here are a few pics after a wax, however plans are to blow it over in satin black ( if anyone lives near Dorchester and can do this on the cheap then get in touch.)

Is it running on all 8? Sounds like a cylinder down, or maybe just the audio?

No she is only running on all 8 at full throttle, but it is suffering a missfire on idle and part throttle, got a new inlet gasket kit, and some other bits to go on it when the garage looks for the issue , I think it's fueling
