altezza rs200 came with a 2ltr 4 cylinder engine and lexus is200 came with a 2ltr 6 cylinder engine... this box is from the 4 cylinder engine. I also have the 6 cylinder box also

If it helps, the Altezza and the IS200 both use the same J160 gearbox, the only difference is the bellhousing for each engine  |

cheers m8, I should have said that, I also have an is200 box also
the bellhousing does come off but it`s not a simple 4 bolt number like a type 9 lol

4 cylinder must be quite different, the is200 one i have has the starter on the other side.
My one is modded to the bmw m44 engine.
the bellhousings don't come off it splits the box.
can you tell me though, the one have has a steal stick mount, and the other ones i have seen on ebay have the ally type like in the pic. whats the difference if any?

totally forgot to reply to this....bellhousings are interchangable just not a straight forward job starter holes and clutch slave cylinder are on opposite sides from each other both altezza box`s i have, have alloy stick mounts but the IS200 box has a metal mount, mibbies the metal mount is a lexus thing here`s a pic of both box`s together  |
