Firstly mods feel free to move this if required, wasn't sure where to post it? I thought I'd share a link to my flickr page, I am a little obsessed with aviation photography. The majority of my images can be seen here: www.flickr.com/photos/neiljackson-photographyI hope you enjoy looking through them as much as I enjoy taking them! Cheers, Neil.

Oh man - you got it bad. That's a serious addiction you've got there.
Lancs and Mk1 Escorts in the forest - how much more does anyone want in life?
I knew a guy who flew in Lancs, the only survivor of his crew. He was grounded on medical groups for an op and someone else took his place. I remember the day he went over to France and stood at their graves knowing his should have been with them.

Growing up in East Anglia I was surrounded by American Cold War bases. The glide path for Bentwaters went right over our house so I had a constant procession of slow flying US hardware going over my house. The C5's were amazing, huge planes. It was mostly F4 Phantoms (noisy!) and C130 transports but during exercises the RAF would 'attack' the US bases so you had a jet based Battle of Britain overhead. I loved it!
Most of the bases are now gone, but if I'm ever near Mildenhall or Lakenheath I'll go and have a look. The F15 Eagles are incredible to watch. Standing starts are what you want, idle to full thrust and airborne in seconds. Recently saw a B1B Lancer at Mildenhall and snapped a few phonecam pics so I understand the fascination with aircraft.

I see you've been to Bruntingthorpe, my old girl the Comet is there. Some really cool pics there, wish mine were even half as good.

I've been fascinated by old warplanes since I was a nipper so here is a meager offering from the Goodwood Revival a few years ago, I'm afraid my skills/equipment is no way near a patch on the rest of the pics here, however the subject matter was awesome (in my opinion anyway). Had a Lanc flanked by two Spitfires. Lots of Spits An arch rival B17 The highlight was 12 Spitfires in the air at together at one time - reportedly the most since WW2 I only managed to catch 8 max though I'm afraid as I didn't want to spend the whole spectacle behind the screen on my little camera. I attended the FoS that year as well and was blessed with a spectacular visit from the Vulcan as well as the Red Arrows. Unfortunatly I was working at the FoS and didn't get the chance to get any pics (not that they'd have been much cop even if I had).
