As some of you might know i've been looking for a particular Vauxhall Carlton estate, PLD 813W. Last seen in Southampton maybe 20 years ago! Anyway, my guess is that it's been lurking in our cupboards since then masquerading as various tinned goods since then. So, i'm thinking about getting another Carlton, and i'm just looking for ideas, so Show me what you've got in the way of Carlton estates, or for that matter Opel Rekords, Opel Omegas (A), or even Holden VB, VC, VH Commodores... They're all the same car basically.  |

The Carlton estate is a damn cool wagon in whatever flavour...!!!
My old man had a couple of Mk2 (Mk1 facelift?!) estates for cabbing work and we also had an S-reg' Opel Rekord estate in metallic orange with a brown vinyl interior if I remember correctly...!!!! Cool...
These are super rare now so getting one and keeping it looking tip-top will be a great thing to do...

Had nice C plate 1.8 one back in the 80s. C865HEV I think it was, in silver. Great car, wonder if it still lives..................

I think wheel choice is really important with these. My old man had an estate, and from some angles it looked great, then others the body kind of outweighed the wheels, and made it look pudgy and top heavy.
That said, they're a handsome car, and I reckon you could make one into an awesome sled.

Never thought much about these but they look just right modified , I owned a cdxi saloon back in 1999 was a great car, I like the idea of a modded one
