Alfa 75 air flow meter part numbers

I have a 75 3.0 V6 Veloce which I think has a faulty AFM. I`ve priced a new one up at close to £600, or can have the faulty one rebuilt for £195 plus VAT. However, I have found one for sale from the same car, but with a slightly different part number.

Does anyone know if the AFM for this car is part number dependant, or would the other one work with a different part number. There is nearly £200 difference in prices.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My part number is 0 280 202 105
Used item is 0 280 202 013

Both are Bosch units.

The Bosch Parts PDF catalogue shows that the used one if from a 2.5 not a 3l.... Not sure if that helps anyway or hinders tbh but i'm sure there must be something on the topic somewhere out in internet land.

Thanks a lot mate, that`s a great help. I`ll give the 2.5 V6 one a go and see what happens.

Is it a springy flap type? They are easy enough to repair. Pop the black cover off, then put a bit of a kink in the wiper so that the contact runs on fresh carbon slightly closer to the pivot. If the carbon looks OK and you are having flat spots you can try and gently clean it.
