So, a few weeks back I bought this one
It`s a 1983,5, being a watercooled 1.9 liter. It had been sitting for about 12 years prior to me buying it, and the person I got it from made it roadlegal and sold it due to lack of parking space. Now, after getting to know it, there are a few issues, but noting major, so my head naturally starts to think of ways to modify it... However, being a VW, there are normaly certain "rules" one has to follow to modify one. Let me give you some examples:
You could do the shop truck look:
The (polished) oldschool look:
Get it cleaned up and ad some big and little ones and go for the more cal-look kind of thing:
I could go for the ratlook:
The rallylook is kind of cool, but would be more show than go as mine are a 2WD:
I could take more of a German look approach:
I could clean it up and bag it:
Or I could paint it army green:
However, I would really like to take this approach!
Would this treatment work I ask you...?
Anyone else have some out of the box suggestions?
