Was a great solid car for me for 4 or so years, but ended up doing so many miles that I was fed up with refilling the tank every other day and I bought an E39 diesel instead. It has now stood for 3 years, but with a battery put on it will fire up and move on the driveway. Tyres are dead, but will hold air. I am sure it is useful for an E30 or something? Tan leather interior, black outside, which is fading on the boot. I guess it needs welding by now, but still looks good with no visible rust as far as I can quickly see. Towbar fitted and towed like a dream, probably need brake discs. Currently LPG converted. Used to do 25MPG everyday, but each time it backfired that was another air flow meter dead. runs fine on LPG, rough as a dog on petrol (250mile range on gas). Tempted to take LPG off and get rid of the rest, but is it of use to anyone as is, for bits, or just for 1 or two items? Thanks David

If I can wok out how to upload i will do so. It looks okay - well solid, and not visably rusty, but that doesnt mean its going to pass an MOT! I am almost tempted to put it in for MOT - i feel I sort of owe it that. But I don't want to waste a load of money (and time) fixing up a £100 non MOTed car, to find its worth £150 with MOT. I have too many others to do. Its got to be worth more than the scrap mans £80 though - and I would have to take off the LPG before they are interested!

I would be chucking in for an mot, then at least you can let potential purchasers know what it needs. If however it passes I would then chuck it on ebay, with full mot, LPG, and straight six in the title

I cannot post photos as I don't have a host to give URL for. Its stood 3 years so bound to need bits and bobs, I know it needs 4 tyres, probably brake discs due to surface rust now. I think I would be throwing good money after bad, as £40 for the MOT, then even if its just track rod end or some gaiters I end up spending £100-150, I would need to insure it, etc etc. Thanks for your thoughts, but I just don't want to spend the time (or money) sorting it. I would just prefer it found a new home than weigh in. £300- £350 as is maybe?
