Wiring Advice: I'm trying to make my engine run

I have a 1983 Toyota Corolla AE86

The engine fitted is a F20c from a Honda S2000

I removed all the crude wiring and aftermarket ECU that was fitted 5 years ago

Then life got in the way...

I'm wanting to get the car running again

I'm in the process of constructing a "power distribution panel" so I can run the engine in my car without touching the Toyota wiring.



Here is how the engine is wired in it's natural habitat (please excuse the missing fuse 21):

I would say I am competent in vehicle electrics, however it is all self taught. I've never had anyone explain the pros and cons of certain ways of doing things... sense my dilemma:

I can put together a few different ways to wire up the diagram. But, I'm not confident to choose one specific way. It's my OCD's worst nightmare! I want it to be neat, tidy, simple and reliable.


Would anyone care to play 'dot to dot' and make a more simple wiring diagram I can use?

make up a separate loom for the auxillaries, i.e oil light, alternator etc.

the S40 ecu in my ZX is just fed from the original standard engine bay fusebox, this in turn connects a permanent fused live to two relays, an ignition switched live turns one on, which powers up ECU, Coils and Injectors, second relay is for the fuel pump, pulled to earth by the ecu.

Would I not require the coils and injectors to run of separate relays?

Right then,

I've spent the evening revising the diagram to my specification.

I would be grateful if someone could scrutinise it to see if it can be made any better in any way.
