Very jealous of this, it's one very pampered E24. Had a good chat with the owner, it's the first time I've seen a factory fit immobiliser still working.

And finally a few from inside the museum.

Got pulled a few times by Suffolk's finest in these beasts. This one retired with only 219k on the clock.

And finally Suffolk's own supercar, the Trident.

Built in a small plant in Ipswich town centre in the 60s these GTs were up against the likes of the Jensen Interceptor. Unfortunately it reeked of cottage industry and when the market was the 60s jet set that's not the whiff you want.

Loved the museum too, was a nice day out. There are some great pics popping up on Facebook too, I would contribute, but only took 4 myself and 3 were of that Trident!

Spotted the Concerto, now sporting a new look on the Honda rims and as tidy as ever with your boy sat behind the wheel. Didn't take too many shots early on as it was raining too hard!

It is a cracking little museum, I totally failed on getting any pictures of the buses/trolleybuses/trams or any of the industrial/commercial stuff. The quality of the restoration work is out of this world, I was fascinated with the ornamental signwriting on the trams. Someone has a very steady hand!

It's also sad to see the lost industrial past of Ipswich. People think of Ipswich as agricultural like most of Suffolk but up until a few years ago we had two foundries, Ransomes mowers, Ransome and Rapier that built anything heavy engineering including locos and mining equipment. My family history is heavily connected with one of the former foundries, Cranes. Between my grandad and great uncle they clocked up nearly 90 years of service. I even worked there myself in the holidays on a shutdown maintenance crew, earnt enough in a fortnight to buy a mk2 Escort. It's nearly all gone now, even the old sites are flats or shopping centres.

well it's sporting its old look wheels from last year, pre Renault sport wheels,

 as they are now on my gf's car (our family Fun bus...)

I have a Set of 16 inch Renault megane steels being banded at the moment for Ronda.

It was a cracking show considering the weather, we had a bigger turnout than last years show even though the weather was worse so that was good too.

I even thought the vintage double decker bus rides were great too!
