Just read the entire thread, 'gotta say this is an absolutely stunning build. A mate of mine has a genuine 6R4 and they are an fookin beast of a car (as were all Group B cars!) I really enjoy seeing a build with such attention to detail, whether it be a modest saloon resto or a real weapon like this. Keep up the fantastic work mate.

That exhaust is exquisite! Really like how this is turning out. Are you going to have a bulkhead between you and the engine?

Just read through the whole thread and love this build. Both mine and the wife's first cars were Metros so she wants me to get one and do it up. Not sure she'd go for this though (philistine) I always fancied doing one with an Alfa 3.2 V6 stuffed in the back to keep that n/a bark.

Well it's been a while since I last posted but have made some progress on the metro (not as much as I'd liked but other commitments have got in the way:-(.) I have the ecu fitted and an engine loom madman fitted, made the breather system, finished the cooling system (which did have a few leaks) and finished the fuel system which also had some leaks due to a incorrectly fitting fuel rail which I had machined and is now sorted. Steve Randle who made my engine loom also put a Base map in my ecu and a month ago she finally started and to my surprise within seconds fired into life and sounded amazing the boys at Hayward and Scott know how to make an exhaust sound good that's for sure. I posted the very 1St start up on YouTube if you fancy checking it out its under (Honda k20 turbo metro 6r4 replica). Will post some more pictures in a little while and yes I do have a upper perspex bulkhead to go in but haven't become brave enough to trim it about to make it fit yet lol. Thanks for all your great comments it's so nice to read that other people like it nearly as much as me. I'm hoping that this summer I will be out on the road and meet up at some shows with you guys.

Thanks for posting the video I'm really not very good at all this lol one side of the exhaust is for the external wastegate and the other is for the turbo, I wanted to keep the proper look from the real 6r4 but also didn't want the exhaust to go into one box with two exits so I thought I'd make purposeful use of both.
