Yeah we've seen things like Landie wheels and Range Rover wheels done before, the PCD is close to ''normal'' being 5 lug. I tried it myself with some Freelanders. But what about other wheels from different 4x4s? I mean, have you actually stopped to look at some of the awesome designs out there beyond the obvious modular steel? Suzuki Jimny 16ins Jimny 15s Vitara Fatboys Shogun 15s Shogun 16s Isuzu Trooper 15s Trooper 15s More Isuzu Etc. 6 stud so adaptors needed and I guess the offset might be scary (the Fatboys are about 10ins wide....), but worth the effort IMO!

How about the 21" from the new Range Rover? That would be heroic!

I'm still tempted by the thought of making my tatty Freelander just RWD - and slapping on some transit dual rear wheels..... big ol 6 stud things

Some of the import Estimas have nice wheels, but five/six stud, and really wide PCD.

Awesome thread - Dez did you make those spacers? How much for some the same thickness to go from 5x139.7 to 4x95.25 might just solve my triumph wheel problems.

I did Jeep Cherokee 17" wheels into the SD1, the colour changed a few times, but once lowered they filled the arches really nice.

Can we just merge this with the five other similar threads of the last month or so?

I was wondering where that had gone! I made it ages ago for something on here, but since lost the image I did a bit more research into the offsets and what not, they'd not sit that much differently to standard wheels on the IS, you'd need some hench spacers to get them looking anything like that On topic I created a thread called (tyre) size does matter, loads of good images from people on there of suv wheels in and out of context

Awesome work, can't wait to see how they look. How are you going to mount them? Adaptors? Or some hub work?
