Just beautiful. Still only halfway through the build thread but great to see latest news - the dash is incredible. Going to hunt down one of those little reverse lights for my rail.

Well done on the TVR manifold. The reduction in noise was a big clue it was going in the right direction (reduction in turbulence). Medusa is coming on, epic build! Time to revisit your back brakes though. There is an auto adjusting mechanism behind the shoes. Have a look through this www.londontaxipartsusa.com/images/brakes/Brakes.PDFThank you crockmiester , stuffed if i can find a veiwing port on the backplate of the drum , i will have another look ,mine is a fx4 freeway driver though .

It's been many years since I messed with these axles but I do recall that rear access holes could be a bit random. I had Westminster axles (same thing except for ratio) and some had them, some didn't. The self adjuster was not that good and could take a bit of patience to get right. Biggest issue was the snail cam teeth wore away. It would then slip to the least adjusted position (if that makes sense).

orl roighty .. faffed about a little more on the wiring front , strapped the sensors on the ally downpipes from the heads , and extended it all to the dash ,and tested it by blowing a blowtorch on the pipes ,and the readings changed so we shall see if its a go-er .. i as not really sure about the digitals , until i lit them up ,with the brass and wood grain contrast , now i like A LOT . made a neat cluster for the scuttle .. that's the feeds for two temps gauges ,and the speedo feed ,and the illumination led for the speedo.. rest of the wiring tidied up .. then panels back on .. oh yes also did the constant feed for the clock (which,AMAZINGLY, works),it only draws 1.4 mA , so should be ok . made a decoesque plate for the scuttle panels joint , and also experimented with making some brass plate look engine turned , i had asked v if ,when she went to the local sunday boot sale, she could find me some brass plate...., she only came back with 10 old door finger panels ,for 2 quid !! spectacular result . tomorrow hopefully get the cowls on (as robin said to batman after a delivery from their tailor.) regards robert.

cossie ! er thank you ? grizz , she is ! ok dokey ... got my cowls sort fo fitted today , firstly i attacked the beaten edges . before .. after .. then got to drillin and a fixin.. oh yes , and did my epileptic angle grinder pattern on the underside ,just to spiv it up a bit.. that was quite hard to get the nuts under the screws in the bit behind the dash , i may try and find ome m4 rivnuts tomorrow on t'net . very pleased to have got this sort of done , its anxious work drilling parts of the car that look good ,trying not to get it all wrong and wonky . regards robert

well fiddly work today , getting the screws screwed to the nuts on the underside was very tricky.. luckily i had my secret weapon veronica to come and use her little fingers to get them on .. then i had a bash at my mirror mount.. i was not sure if i liked it , but ,upon reflection decided i did ( see what i did there ? no ?? , oh well i'm here all week ) regards robert.

And you will make Grizz oh so jealous.
