For sale: 2.0 silvertop Zetec engine from a Mondeo.
This is the 2.0 silvertop version with 130bhp and was removed by myself from a Mondeo. The car had been hit in the rear. Not badly (just a cracked bumped, slightly dented boot and a broken nearside light) but enough for the insurance to write it off. But the engine was a perfect runner, I drove it for a good 40 mins before bringing it into the unit to remove and it genuinely ran really sweetly with NO untoward noises, smoking, leaks or anything that made me concerned. Basically I bought this because it was a really good engine that I was going to put into my Mk3 Escort estate (which was sold last week) and I'd never have gone to the bother of removing it complete with the loom and ECU if it was smokey, rattly and/or leaking fluids.
All ancillaries are there including the alternator, manifold & downpipe, power steering pump, air box and meter, fuse box, ALL engine mounts etc....
I removed the loom throughout the engine bay and from behind the dashboard, complete with the immobiliser transponder key and transponder ring (wiring completely uncut too)
Basically this is a complete package and comes with my confident assurance that it's a good solid engine.
