well i never thought i would get it finished in time but here it is my cavalier repainted and ribboned up for my sisters wedding thank you spineynorman for the new bonnet and Chris for the bumper the final product is better than i could of imagined. and my fellow Bandito Dan Knight drove the brides in his dads camper. so who else has used their retro as a wedding car?

Looks great mate, nice work! My ae86 served as transport for myself and groomsmen on my wedding day - my younger brother got wedged in the back, while myself and the best man (me being 6', 90kg and him 6'1" 120kg) taking the front. It was a little cosy if I'm being honest!
I'll see if I can find the photos tonight. It turned out I did hillclimbs with the photographers father, so he was keen to get a few snaps of it!

Looking good Timasorus My wife and I used my Lancia as our wedding car last year After looking at various options of classics we could hire for the day, in the end we decided that the Fulvia was just as special as any of them. It did us proud and actually worked flawlessly for the day, and for the drive to and from our short honeymoon in the lake district.

I wasn't living in the country where I got married so didn't use my own car.
However, I did rent a nice chromie MG BGT as my transport for the week.

Apologies for the tiny picture. This is my wedding, over nineteen years ago. My wife was driven to the church in the Scorpio in the background (which was rather new at the time, but it was white!) and I drove to/from the wedding in my slammed '58 Minor.

Still miss that stupid little car. This wasn't for an actual wedding, it was done for a club calendar.

Check out gr06ham username on Instagram. I don't know him but was directed towards his instagram to see a white Jag mk2 dropped, with black instead of chrome on big rims. Worth searching for it. Looks great in the wedding photos

I used my Escort (will find a pic at some point)
All was fine until the clutch cable snapped as we were about to leave the registry office
got some good shots of my mates pushing it out of the way and my sweaty stressed face as i completed the mile journey to the reception with no ability to change gear (the bride got a lift with the photographer)
