Need a little bit of advice, I have just picked up a 1999 Mercedes c200 w202 and looking to change the wheels. It is on the standard 15 inch alloys and looking at 18s, no problem there but I see some at 9j and some at 9.5j.will 9.5j rear and 8.5 up front fit with no mods doing to the arches, as I don't want to get into this situation again, thanks.

I've got 18x8j Brabus monoblocks on mine and the rears look completely lost in the arches, need some large spacers really, 8's on the front still have quite a gap so 8.5 would be no problem, just for reference ive got 225 width fitted so not really stretched or anything

Got the wheels sorted,18 inch with 9.5 rears and 8s up front with 10mm spacers to fill the arch and also to clear the caliper, just lowered 30mm and with the bbs wheels it looks good.

Sounds like a good set up. They always look under-wheeled with the standard 15s, even on the baloon tyres.
