OK - need some advice please....
I have this Morris Marina - unfinished project
The plan was to fit the Chevy LT1 350ci Corvette motor that I have sat in my garage but it's just not fitting into my life as it should... (make of that what you will!). I'm heartbroken as I've owned this car twice (after buying it back!) and I really don't want to break it up. It has some pretty expensive parts on that I know go for a lot of money to the Ford boys etc but it would be a shame to waste all this work. My loss is your gain and all that stuff
So... What's it worth!?
It's pretty much a standard body shell but with a new chassis to take the extra power...
Rear end - standard apart from the split bumpers :
Interior
Front end
Then it all gets a bit lairy....
Rear end:
The rear axle was previously under a 600BHP imp and has since been completely rebuilt (including LSD) and rebuilt with enlarged, hardened custom half shafts.
Front end
It's a super solid shell but there is some welding needed :
Front n/s wing has hole in 'eyebrow' and near the rear of the panel (photos in Photobucket album). It also needs both rear boot floor corners at the rear of the wheel-arches. One is holed and the other has been cut out ready for welding. However it seems there is an old repair there that might need some further remedial work. A small repair to the rear n/s arch is also needed (part of the same area) but all other arches are great.
Cheers all!
