I have this a few years, was a daily rider to work before the exhaust snapped off so it got pushed into the garage and left.
Recently brought back to life, it now has a 70cc barrel/piston/head upgrade. The exhaust has been repaired and welded back together.
Not particularly clean or tidy, it has a replacement tank that's dented, and replacement plastics that have a few cracks and chips. I have the original tank also, its painted satin olive drag, but it could do with sealing as it weeps fuel from the pressing join. Also have the original yellow plastics, but the front section was warped slightly due to reaction to the fuel from the weeping original fuel tank.
It's a 2-speed centrifugal automatic with shaft drive, supposedly quite a rare thing.
Speedo is a cycle computer, I have a new speedo cable for the stock clock but the worm drive in the front hub is seized.
I have a PW50 rear gear for it, that supposedly raises the top MPH slightly, when I test rode it after the 70cc upgrade it did around 35mph.
It was running fine after the engine upgrade, then left for a couple of months, and now it refuses to start. Will kick/turn over on the starter but wont fire. Will run if you dribble some fuel into the spark plug hole so something's going on in the carb it apart and cleaned the float bowl and jets, but still isn't playing ball. Fuel is getting to the carb just fine, so now I'm at a loss.
No MOT, V5C in my name.
