Rust prevention and paint systems

What are people using? I've been researching stonechip, por 15, DuPont, PPG etc... So I've got a restored baremetal shot blasted shell I've been doing, with some new panels with their factory black paint on, and some areas of light orange where moisture has got to the shell. I'm looking for the best way to protect it all. Be interested to hear what's worked for people and what hasn't. Also people's long term experiences with paint systems, how's ur paint held up to chips and whatever.

I've been using Epoxy Mastic from Rustbuster.co.uk as a primer on bare and semi-prepared steel in areas that are subject to heavy exposure. On my Mini restoration, the underside was primed with Epoxy Mastic then a couple of coats of anti-stone chip then cellulose body colour. After two years use - mainly in good weather mind you - the underside is completely intact with hardly any deterioration noticeable. I was underneath it only a few weeks ago to re-route the fuel pipes and was very pleased with the coating underneath.

I went for epoxy mastic as it can be used on just about any surface - prepared and semi-prepared. I had wanted to use PoR 15 but had read about it coming off in strips where the metal was not 100% cleaned & prepared.

I spilled some epoxy mastic on the garage floor years ago and its still there - I tried to scrape it off but it was lifting the concrete. I also spilt some on a tyre which has since been put on a car and in use for over a year - it's still there too!

I have mixed feelings for the Por15.

Two years ago I paint the inner roof from my project and PoR stays on, even when I was abused it with a wire brush. Last summer I spilled PoR outside to Tarmac surface. After the winter it's still stays on like a bubblegum on a beard.

Friday I paint fuel tank and some small things from my project. I cleaned everything and even used steel wool and soaked parts with a brake cleaner. First layer was a little thin at some places and plan was to put another coat on to it. Don't know why I first tried how the first layer stays on, but when I scratched the surface, it's starts to peel off.
And the tank was cleaner than the inner roof was.

Maybe the humidity is too high and PoR dries too quickly or some thing else happen, but now I have to clean the tank again.

I've also been using Rustbuster stuff, and getting great results.

I use the 93% Zinc primer on clean, bare metal. After that's cured, scotchbrite it, and then the epoxy primer. After that, either 2k top coat or UPOL Gravitex stonechip depending on the area/application.
