If its the Rover, i'm a tad jealous!
Question: Did the Rovers versions rot more than the Honda ones? or did Victor meldrew and Mrs BuCKet, kill the value of used Rover 200's?
cheers

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Most intriguing! I'm hoping it's the Rover - aren't they torsion-bar sprung? Remember chaps...Slater's merely applying a simple rule - lowered with rims. The reason his stuff is as good as it is, is because when he goes low he doesn't faff about moaning about speed ramps and when he chooses rims he is aware of how the size/offset and tyre options will work in his favour. Much credit is due to the Slater....but there's no reason why you couldn't all be doing it!

there have been enough clues already. Think of the Saab... Why doesn't he want the Saab... think of the cars on the option list.... xXx Balderdash's clue is a giveaway?

but there's no reason why you couldn't all be doing it! Maybe because we don't want to? Just a thought. There's a big difference between 'no reason you couldn't' and 'everybody must'. All I'm saying is that if you want a car that's as cool as one of Slater's it's not an impossible task. If you don't want a car like Slater's then go ahead and make your own way. I am not, and never have been under the impression that everybody wants a slammed car...but if you do, then it's achievable - there's no black art.

Jesus christ, those are some freaking deep dish, wide ass wheels! Where did you find them? As someone said they must have previously been holding thick, black, gloopy stuff before they got some pcd's drilled into one end ;D Curious to see how it turns out!

Athough they are a bit straighter and a bit more shiney now these would look great after youve banded them about to get some 205/70 tyres, you think one of them will stretch enough to fit on? that'd be INSANE stretch!
