Material thickness inlet manifold

I am considering making (or more correct having made) a inlet manifold for my daimler V8 engine to fit four Weber DCNF carburetors. I am looking into buying pre-made bends in aluminum and adapting these. I can get Aluminium donuts with the correct dimensions from ARE.com.au that have 2mm wall thickness, but will this be enough or will they warp during welding and or in use?

Flanges for the heads and carbs will be either 6mm or 10mm aluminum for stability.

Anyone with aluminum welding experience care to comment?

I reckon you'd be fine with 2mm wall ally tube, personal preference would be 10mm for the flange as it almost certainly would get a small bit of warpage from welding giving you some material to skim off in worst case scenario.

Cold I try to Braze or Solder the manifold instead of welding? Worst case I would have to let someone weld it all together after I've made all the parts and had a go at brazing(?)

2mm would be fine. I used 8mm for the do flanges and 2mm wall tube for the manifolds I made for my triumph. No problem welding them together, and no noticeable distortion either, but they were only short length flanges.
